Dr Rebecca Morris
I am a general executive member of the SAPC committee and have a particular interest in Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) and wider stakeholder involvement in primary care research. I am also interested in early career researcher activities and developing resources for researchers about academic career pathways.
My research interests focuses on patient safety and patient, carers and clinician experiences of health and illness in the design and implementation of interventions to support care. My work focuses on long term condition management, patient safety, eHealth, remote communication technologies and the interface between and across primary care and wider sources of community support. I work as part of the NIHR Greater Manchester Primary Care Patient Safety Translational Research Centre (GM PSTRC) where my work focuses on General Practice.
